La NHP 2010 è realizzata in honeycomb , un materiale realizzato riempiendo con apposite resine una struttura di alluminio composta da centinaia di piccole celle aventi forma e dimensione simili a quelle che caratterizzano gli  alveari., il risultato è un materiabile leggero, stabile e praticamente indistruttibile che viene usato frequentemente nel settore aeronautico.
Il nuovo shape con canale 3D rende possibile un accurato controllo del flex della NHP 2010 sia lungo l'asse tip to tip (longitudinale) che lungo quello lside to side (laterale) della tavola, ciò aiuta parecchio a tenere il bordo in modo aggressivo anche in andatura di bolina per consentire al rider di disporre di un pop letteralmente esplosivo al momento opportuno e contemporaneamente dandogli la possibilità di atterraggi comodi e senza perdita di velocità.
I Tips piuttosto dritti ed i bordi con forma idrodinamica aiutano ad ottenere accelerazioni e velocità di punta elevate e riduzione dei spruzzi d'acqua.

The new 2010 3D Construction shaping now makes it possible to accurately control the flex both longtiudinally (tip-to-tip) and laterally (side-to-side) through the board. Stiffer with less flex along the longitudinal axis helps hold the edge for longer before exploding from the water (necessary for huge air), whilst softer flex across its width makes fast, dynamic and comfortable landings possible. The stiffer straighter tips also aid to provide better speed, earlier planing and an almost complete reduction of spray.
